About The Instructor

I have taught both flute and piano in Lawrenceville Georgia for the past 13 years.

  • I started my formal piano training at age 6 and flute at age 10.
  • As a college music major in both education and performance, I toured with symphony orchestras as well as wind ensembles.
  • I have been church organist, solo accompanist, and music teacher in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Georgia.
  • I am a member of the local, state, and national Music Teachers Association, the Georgia Music Educators, and the National Association for Music Educators.
  • My goal in teaching is to share my love of music with my students. While enjoying the pleasure of playing, a musician also learns discipline, confidence, self-esteem and performance skills.
  • I teach in a relaxed environment where students can all develop their own unique talents.
